hello guyz! icarus is bak in action! hehe!
yes its been ages. but they are back. Icarus will be performing in the ‘rock and recover’ concert for OSC. the money will be going to the ‘war child’ charity, so please try to attend. they will be performing some of thr new material so hope u guyz wil take part!

Stigmata will NOT be performing or organizing any concerts (in Colombo, Kandy or anywhere else) till December, as the Band is concentrating on the recording process of the new album. All rumors about Stigmata performing at the Earl’s Regency are bullshit and just a cheap, contrived and shallow PR gimmick by insecure individuals who are satisfied playing one gig a year and naturally disillusioned by their fluctuating Rock Star status (perhaps Danni Filth will turn up for the gig after baking a cake for the Band).
The recording commenced in May this year and so far despite certain challenges, obstacles and minor issues (both internal and external) Stigmata have risen through adversity to record album number 3 and so far it sounds fucking incredible. The new album should be completed in the next few months, and Stigmata are looking at an early/summer 2009 release.
Please expect an official statement by Vije Dhas posted in the print media & internet very soon with regard to his decision to leave the Band. Stigmata will also issue a statement in the days to come.
