Daughter of Rohana Wijeweera arrested

The daughter of JVP founder Rohana Wijeweera was arrested this morning for allegedly assaulting her mother and brother, police said.
They said that the incident had reportedly taken place at their house located within the Welisara Navy Camp.
Following the incident the widow of late Wijeweera had lodged a complaint with the Mahabage police. The suspect-Easha Wijeweera-was produced before the Wattala Magistrate, who ordered to remand the suspect till June 3. (Supun Dias)
