Bro mehemai I'm also using this Dialog university pKg, As far as I know, HSPA( High SPeed Packet Access) consist 2 parts HSDPA - High Speed Download Packet Access- & HSUPA - High Speed Upload Packet Access- Any network will give the priority to HSDPA than HSUPA. So Usually HSDPA speed is faster than HSUPA. Other thing is once a connection established, it will ultimately show it as HSDPA & it wont show it as HSPA - if it shows HSPA that means u r in a 3.5G coverage and speed is optimum. if it shows WCDMA that means u r not under a 3.5 G but 3G and speed is slower. If it shows EDGE/GPRS that means u only have GPRS coverage!hence speed is very low. this is true4 mobitel etc. and ultimate speed depend on number of users within that area using a single lets say a transmiter. if the user load is high the continous smooth flow will be interrupted & signals may drop. what I know the dialog university pkg they marketed it as giving max download speed of 3.6mbps and upload speed of 384kbps. with FUP dropping the speed drastically after total of 5 GB.only for the normal public they gives 7.2mbps. usually what I heard is the mobitel speed is smoother than dialog yet price is little high and coverage wise we cant expect 3.5 G in the village areas as its penetration is low but the 3.5 G coverage is wider in mobitel. So I dont know whats better from these 2!!

HSDPA සහ HSPA අතර වෙනස වනුයේ HSDPA ට වඩා HSPA වල Upload වේගය වැඩිවීමයි.

අපේ ගෙදරට 3G Dialog සිග්නල් හරියට නැති උනාට 3.5G Mobitel සිග්නල් නම් ඉතා හොඳින් තිබේ. (ජනේලෙන් එලියට දාන්න ඕන නෑ )

අපේ කනෙක්ෂන් එක නිකම් තියෙන වෙලාවට (කනෙක්ට් වෙලා මොනවත් ලොකුදෙයක් upload හරි download හරිවෙන්නේ නැති වෙලාවට) WCDMA වල*ට Switch වෙනවා. 3G නෑ කියන එක නෙවෙයි. මේක HSDPA නෙට්වර්ක් එකේ load එක අඩු කරගන්න මේගොල්ල දාපු උපක්*රමයක්. අපි ආයෙත් කනෙක්ෂන් එකෙන් ලොකුවට වැඩ ගන්න වෙලාවට ආයෙත් HSDPA වලට එනවා. එහෙම නැතුව WCDMA එන්නේ 3G සිග්නල් නැති නිසා නෙවෙයි. සමහර වෙලාවට WCDMA වලින් HSDPA වලට switch වෙන්න ටිකක් වෙලා යන්නේ HSDPA එක නෙට්වර්ක් busy උනාම.

ඩයලොග් HSPA 7.2 Mbps

HSPA කියල advertise කලාට ඇත්තටම දෙන්නේ HSDPA කනෙක්ෂන් එකක්. ඒක තවත් බොරුවක් මේගොල්ලන්ගේ, මම පාවිච්චි කරපු කොහේදිවත් HSPA සිග්නල් ඇවිත් නෑ.(future is today කියන්නේ හෙට කරන්න ඉන්න දේවලුත් අද advertise කරල මිනිස්සු රවට්ටන හින්දා වෙන්න ඇති).
ndoor signals නැති ප්*රශ්නෙත් ගොඩක් අයට තියෙනවා. ගමේ ආවම signal(සිග්නල් කිව්වේ දත්බෙහෙත් නෙවෙයි හො**ඳේ) අරගන්න මොඩම් එක ජනේලෙන් එලියෙන් තියන්න ඕන. කොහොම උනත් ගමේ ඇවිත් මොඩම් එක එලියට දාන්න ඕන. කොහේ ගියත් කනෙක්ෂන් එක නම් මේ හොදටම හරිම unstable HSDPA සිග්නල් තියෙනවෙලාවටත් එකපාරටම disconnect වෙනවා. සමහර දවස්වලට කනෙක්ට් වෙන්නම බෑ. පහුගිය දවසක 120KB attachment එකක් එක්ක mail එකක් යවාගන්න පැය 5ක් උත්සහ කරලත් බැරි උනා. ඔය දවසේ අන්තිමට phone(අනේ අපිට blackberry ගන්න සල්ලි නෑ තියෙන්නේ sony ericson K750i එකක්) එක පරිගනකයට සම්බන්ධ කරල Mobitel GPRS වලින් ගිහින් තමා වැඩේ කරගත්තේ. slow නම් තමයි. ඒත් කොහොම හරි වැඩේ උනා විනාඩි 5න් (ඩයලොග් broadband වලට වඩා Mobitel GPRS speed ද මංදා). Unstable 7.2Mbps කනෙක්ෂන් එකකට වඩා stable GPRS කනෙක්ෂන් එකක් හොඳයි මටනම්. එක දවසක් assignment Upload කරන්න deadline එකට පැයක් හමාරක් තියල ඩයලොග් නෙට්වර්ක් ඩවුන්. backup කනෙක්ෂන් එක නොතිබුනා නම් මම අනාතයි එදා. රුපියල් 8500ක් මුලින් දීල තව මාසෙකටත් 2000(විශ්ව විද්*යාල සිසුවෙක් නො*වන කෙනෙකු නම් මුලින් 11500ක් ගෙවා මසකට රු.4000ක් පමණ ) ගානේ දීල තවත් කනෙක්ෂන් එකක් ගන්න ඕන මේක වැඩ නැතිවෙලාවට වැඩ කරන්න.

තවත් අලයක් *තියෙනවානේ සමහර සයිට් වලට යන්න බෑ. වෙනත් කනෙක්ෂන් වලින් යන්න පුළුවන් උනාට ඩයලොග් කනෙක්ෂන් එකෙන් යන්න බෑ. ඒගොල්ලන්ට සයිට් එකේ නම කියල සතියකින් දෙකකින් තමා ඒගොල්ල ඒක හදලා දාන්නේ.

පහුගිය කාලේ යන්න බැරි උන සයිට් කිහිපයක්. අප භාවිතා කල යුතු/නොකල යුතු වෙබ් අඩවි තෝරා දිය යුත්තේ Dialog Telekom ද? ළඟදීම ඩයලොග් broadband භාවිතා කරන්නන්ට http://www.mobitel.lk , http://www.airtel.lk පිවිසීම අවහිර කලහොත් පුදුම විය යුතු නැත.

කොච්චර කතා කලත් අන්තිමට ඩයලොග් එක කල එක් වැරැද්දක් ඒගොල්ලෝ පිළිගත්ත. දැන් advertise කරන්නේ 1Mbps කියලා(ඒකත් දීගන්න බෑනේ මේගොල්ලන්ට. තාම බොරුව කරන්නේ). ඒත් දැන් ගොඩක් දෙනා ක*නෙක්ෂන් එක අරගත්තට පස්සේ වේගය 1Mbps කියල වෙනස් කරන එක හරිද?. සමාගමකට customer satisfaction එක ඉතා වැදගත්. මේවගේ බොරු කියල කීදවසක් පාරිභෝගිකයන් රවට්ටන්නද? දැනටත් එකා දෙන්නා Dialog HSPDA අතහරින්න පටන් අරන්. ඒත් කනෙක්ෂන් එක ගන්නකොට මාස හයක් පාවිච්චි කරන්න එකඟ වෙලයි මේක ගත්තේ ඒ නිසා මේක අතහරින්නත් බෑ. මොඩම් එකත් අඩුවට දුන්නට නෙට්වර්ක් ලොක් කරලනේ දෙන්නේ කනෙක්ෂන් එක අතහරිනවා නම් මොඩම් එකෙන් වැඩක් නැතිවෙනවා.

Dialog just wants the peoples money not satisfying the user, I would love to have a local vendor who is giving out connections like Mobitel but there not giving Upahara to non govt employees?! What the hell were citizens of this country to, not like those corrupted and non corrupted govt officials (like teachers, and other govt who sincieraly work)

Dialog needs to remove there FUP, thats BULLSHIT. And learn to handle there customers with respect.

wrong!! HSPA is the technology which stands for 'High speed packet access'

the down link of HSPA technology is called HSDPA stands for 'High-Speed Downlink Packet Access' and the uplink is called HSUPA which known as 'High-Speed Uplink Packet Access' . saying HSPA has a higher uplink than HSDPA is bullshit!!!! do not comment on things if you are not confident.

I use a dialog HSPA, but, I get stable speed of 120KB/s every time! It is good, I get 99-100% signal all the time! BUT, I DON"T LIKE DIALOG!! Who will like a connection for 4000/= rental with all FUP craps? Though I get stable good speed and full signal, I hate dialog!!
