Hei u know that dialog broad band wimax internet connection? If u have idea to get it. i strictly advice don't get it.

    Truth is hear,

If you take 1Mbps broadband connection only you will get 4Gb download limit for month. That mean if u are reaching to 4Gb limit they will automatically convert your user category (QOS) to heavy user.

Do you know whats that mean. That mean you dead. Because that category users don't get 1Mbps speed. Can u remember your 56kbps dialup connection. U can feel like using dialup connection when u convert to that package.

But i never heard this kind of story for SLT adsl. No they never limit your download limit. I'm using both connection. SLT ADSL 512kbps and Dialog broadband 1Mbps connection.

Im really disapointed about Wimax connection. So i use it for BACKUP link. Its shit.

One month i got a rapid share premium accountt and download 150Gb from ADSL connection.
U never cant do that kind of miracle from dialog broadband.

If u only using inter for chatting and checking emails WIMAX connection will not make problems. But the case is is it worth full to pay Rs3500 for 4Gb.

Time to think about Dialog broadband.

Hey guys i don't want to argue with any of you in first place. Dialog Broadband targets enterprise market. And EM requirements are very different when they compared to your requirements. They want to send voip and there are hell lots of other bandwidth critical applications. That’s why they went to this Quality Of Service model. This process is not done by simple commands in router. There is a separate engine call CISCO SERVICE CONTROL ENGINE. From that they can read your packet header and according that information they will classify your data. Earlier model was FIFO (first in first out). That mean first packet come will go to the other end as the first one.

let’s say you are doing voice chat in skype. It generates a separate packet type called RTP (real time transfer protocol) this RTP is under UDP. So like TCP they can’t guarantee your packet delivery. If it’s dropped it’s dropped. Only this service provider can do is mark this packet and send it fast as he can. That’s what happens in QOS model. So when they classifying traffic types they will give higher priority those traffic types. That’s mean it gives lower priority to torrents and rapidshare. Cos its tcp. They will re-transmit the traffic if it got dropped. That’s the truth behind lower bandwidth scenario.

I got a bad news to SLT users also. SLT is also looking for this solution from cisco.

Machan we know the technology. But tell me why normal home user take a broadband connection. Because he wanna Download lot. he wanna use peer to peer. I. But if im talking about our slt adsl can download from torrent and at the same time i can use my skype also. If u want to argue about technology wise lets start. But only i used simple terms to understand about this issue to everyone.

The different is SLT have BIG backbone inter nation internet connectivity and dialog DONT have. Dialog is trying to play with us again.

    They played one time.

    But not again.

Please machan ayeth nan dialog ekata kade yanna epa.

    ahh...
    wow..
they got a SCE by spending millions and ..
the best thing they can do is..
    giving a user quotas..
    haha...
if they only prioritize the protocols..
    then this issue wont arise..
what they done was grouping the users buy..
bandwidth usage and giving them a user quota..
because they so little bandwidth to provide and...
need to get the fullest value of what they got..
    sad thing for customers..
BTW i never heard Ent market uses DSL to provide Voice and Video..
to serve that DBB has a separate IP VPN support MPLS...
only SMBs uses that to save the money from buying dedicated's..
anyways Dialog always messing with customers..
    :)

    Cheers man. You correct 100%.
