Dialog Mobile Broadband

Hi,
I am just looking for some information about availability of Dialog MOBILE broadband. Dialog CC says if my phone has signals that means Mobile Broadband will work at that location? Is it true? Is it required to have 3G in the area to use Mobile Broadband? Please share the info if n one have experience the Dialog Mobile Broadband.

Yes. You need HSDPA (3.5G) coverage in the area to get the maximum download speed. If you have only 3G coverage the download speeds would be around 384Kbps (maximum) and if you only have GPRS coverage the download speeds would be around 64Kbps. That is equivalent to the dial-up speed. Better check with a 3.5G enabled mobile phone before you decide to buy it. Hope this helped. Cheers!
