sim no is used to track the call records. imei is used to track down the changes of sim. current system in sl cant track real time location. only thing they cn provide is tower location.

yeah.. only the tower... cuz every time when the phn is switched on it will update the sim location(current signelling tower location) to VLR ryt? so ure telling it will also record the imei number of the phn also? ahaa.. thanks for the info..

no machan best thing to do is 1st make police entry with ur imei but u have to proof ur phone ownership and write are letter to dialog ' fraud manager' pls black list thim imei this is are illeagle item and they will add to there black list if any one use that phone track the bugger and do the badu packet

Yes...this is true...all mobile operators tracks our IMEI and they record it.....!!
