It is not a surprise to hear CIA had something to do with the assignation of JFK. He showed some autonomy in decision making. Take MM incident. After the Kennedy era CIA grew in as a global shadow government. To this date they control all the areas including grooming/selecting a president for their own country working from behind.
Their strategy is to divide and conquer. Only few countries like Russia, Cuba, china, North Korea showed some amount of resistance against them. Somehow china manages to win this battle. Many countries perished in this battle. Early giants like Russia almost lost it forever. They used Taliban for their advantage to fight against Russia. Now only Putin is pulling it back a little. Then they targeted rich oil countries in Middle East to get oil. They started dividing them. Spent money create extremist. Plan was to decentralize the power. CIA knew after decentralizing it is all about paying individuals with power so that they can have what they want.
Coming to sri lanka, it is no wonder that USA(CIA/NSA) is happy, they think they are on the way to their goal. People might say that there is nothing here for them to take. Sometimes it is about the big picture. We had strong leadership who got close to china, the power house. This was not helping their long term plans. They decided to change the regime and future they will make sure no one can become a strong leader here, who can centralize power. To help that cause, first thing they did was changing the constitution.
In future they will make our economy go haywire. They will make plans to let people find reasons to rally out in streets. Ultimately government will have no other option than oppressing people as it happens in Egypt. They will make sure in future, there will be no more trust left among communities. They will make sure ultimately sri lanka has turned into another failed country like Russia, Iraq or Libya.
Singapore had a leader with centralized power, Malaysia had one and china had a working committee. Now Europa is having European Union. Without having strong leadership nothing will move forward. This is a fact.
