i want to backup data, and the backup software should be able to remember which files were backed up already, and only backup the data that has been modified since the last backup and the new files. it doesn't have to be automated backing up, and i want them to remain as just files, not as one single archive. any ideas?
I'm talking about 100's of GB of datasri_lion said:As I remember.. If you get a DVD-RW (if that is enough to back up your data) Nero can do this.. burn a multi-session disk first then afterwards the second time onwards.. point to the same directory and it will only burn the modified files!!!

Maybe a professional quality software? I have no money problemssri_lion said:Looks like there's no cheaper solution for your problem because of the amount of data you need to backup!!

I use to Sync with a Multi-session DVD-RW and also use to keep a copy in my thumb drive..
Reason: XP was not stable enough.. I had to format my PC every 6 months or so!!!
Now, once a month I would Back it up on a DVD (copy paste)!! Not much valuable things to back up @ my home PC!!
And Vista is stable than XP!!!
