A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on the road on a motorcycle...
    Girl: Slow down. Im scared.
    Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No its not. Please, its too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
    Girl hugs him
Guy: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself? Its bugging me.
In the paper the next day :( A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it, but only one had survived.
The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug him one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

    DO YOU?????

Is it impossible to halt a bike if he had so much road space to keep going on until the girl said all that and switched on helmets?

What if you had just let go without accelerating and then eventually the thing would stop?

Aha.. well, what I'm trying to find is why this guy couldnt figure out a technical way to stop the bike and save both lives.

Sometimes, people do the most dumbest things out a spark to do all kind, good-hearted etc etc. stuff, but dont realize the practical and sensible solution is something else, at a lesser cost.

Thats what they should have pointed out in the first place. What led to the crash, and the scenario involved, not only about the breaks failing half way through.

If the bike was going on all the way until they said "i love you" and all that crap, and even switched helmets, why couldnt he just effing slow down instead of accelerating any further, and save both lives, and guess what, get married??

well exactly pretend that the guy saw the accident coming near but he didnt wanted to freak out the girl...he juz give it up and choose to save her life so he did a little drama scene with her before the accident and faced it i think this is nt juz the bike n the accident..sometimes its juz more to it...i dnt think this is about a techinical problem the bike had..but smthng more to it...

Yes, thats what I'm saying. The guy (who now appears to be none but an utter fool) ends up with this spark of romance to do something like in movies to create a talk and story like this, and does what he did to end up dying, but if he had used his brains, scenario would be different.

This could be a result of excessive movie-watching, especially indian romance crap.

True ; women freak out. So what this guy should've done is to use his approach to calm her down saying to place trust in him. He could've even done it without even telling her anything, just let go of accelerating, and stay cool. She would worry once the bike looses speed, perhaps then break it out to her that the bike has no more breaks in it.

    Whats more? just what more?
However, its pointless deducing conclusions without having knowledge of what led to the circumstances.

Plus, if this guy loves his girl so much, why didnt he let her wear the helmet right from the beginning? Careless?

    Does it matter!
hmmm i get the moral of the story but its too dramatic i'd say plus if the breaks didnt work... while in the time he was having a drama with the girl he cud have tried to slow the bike by putting to a high gear (3rd n 2nd n onto the 1st) even if it burst the gear box... n like some sed in here....to take off the hand from the accelerator. No one can say he didnt have time coz for the talking, the hugging...surely there was about 30-60 seconds worth of time...alot can be done in that time at any speed...
