Does people hates Dialog???

after analyzing all the threads of Elakiri for about an one year I thought of starting this thread. there was one thing I noticed about those threads. Most of those threads were related to mobile telco of SL. When ever there's a thread regarding this topic name DIALOG was heavily touched. When Mobitel introduced a package, there were people to scold on Dialog. When Tigo goes per second billing , again there were people to scold on Dialog. When Hutch introduces incoming free package under daily rental, once again there was people to criticize Dialog. after all when Dialog launches a service or promotion.... there you go... more than enough people to criticize it again...

The most popular arguments regarding Dialog is High cost. When Dialog starts their service on 1995 they were the last entry on telco industry (still it remains till Aritel launch). from the very beginning, the cost were high on Dialog comparing on other operators. Does any body has an idea on why Dialog reach 5Millon customer base with the highest charges???? You guys telling that all those 5Million people were not aware about the high cost and hidden charges (as per those criticizers) of Dialog??? Or those people were not aware about the other operators????

And the next most popular argument on Dialog is they cheating to the public. I have a good example on how bias those people on this argument. Mobitel launched the FREEDOME package recently. All the marketing campaign were about the FREE calls. They announced It's free to call on any M to M out going call at any time of the day. In very small letters there was the FUP on the package. Also there were daily rental. No body to criticize on that. No body say Mobitel is cheating. Everybody happy on the offer. Once dialog offered the lifetime discount (which is a novel idea), sooo many people to shout regarding the rental. Funny..

As the bottom line, are really those people (specially on EK) hates Dialog... What is the reality on this??

There are so many points I wanna discuss about this topic with everybody. All are welcome on their free comments. You people can criticize this or add your argument, comment regarding this topic.

for ur info... ppl in elakiri didnt hate dialog dat much..they were upset wen all dialog competitors gave benefits to there customers dialog
this is due to market power that dialog had, they didnt do anythin beneficial for there client. wen they had 3 million customer dialog gave them free suplemenatry sims ..helpin themselves ot have aroun 4.5 millions cutomers!!!!!

Comin to Mobitels free m2m...u should note that in sl operaters cannot give free talk time.. and they are govern by TRC thats y they onlyput a maximum minutes...
dialog did this with there broadband max usage of 2 to4gb!!!!!

Comin back now dialog seriously need to the market power!!! as mobitel, tigo or hutch didnt have the money power...Airtel surely has a huge bank balance!!! n thus htye even dnt mind goin on losses for 2 years!!!! therefore dialog is tryin to take 75percent of the market... so that it would be hard for Airtel to take dialog users!!!

i dunno abt the rest but im pretty happi with dialog. whatever said and done they have the best service. and anyone can say otherwise, i knw so many ppl here are biased and i think that the guy hu started this thread has made an awesome post at the begining. i agree with everything uve said! end of the day dialog comes out with the best ideas and are technologically more advanced that all the separate operators thats why theyre successful. the problem with people today is they find it very hard to support any co that makes a big profit cos they believe that big profit means cheating and stealing.. what they need to understand is dat dialog has very good business practices and thats why they are successful.. and the people should use their heads and realize that with these huge profits they keep complaining abt, dialog invests a hell of a lot to improve services and provide new features...

First of all I would like to know how you can represent the whole EK member pool while hanging around one month in EK.
next kindly let me know where Dialog offered free SIMs? there were no any single situation where Dialog did this like Moitel. They offered FREE connection to all the SLT customers to gain their customer base. Dialog does not
I don't know y people can't remember the offers given by Dialog. for your information, You name what ever the offer given by all the other operators. it's there with Dialog. think on it.

moving on to your next argument, Yes.. I perfectly do understand there cannot be free calls than you. Unfortunately some people cannot understand that.they always want free stuff. thanks for accepting that point

This is another point. No body asking whether they are working for Mobitel ,tigo,Hutch when they promoting or giving bias comments on their service. But for Dialog....

No, machan i dont think like that. bcoz now they are try to give many options to our customers,
i know they got late for it,
any way now they gave us many more options

1. If we reload Rs. 50 we can get incoming free for 5 day's

2. If we get a call in 10 sec, it cost for ten sec for only

i have a very bad experience wit dialog bro. dats y i had to switch to mobitel. i used dialog for 2 yrs but no damn offers. but wen i switched too mobitel at da end of da 1st yr i got a letter saying as a thank u gift for using mobitel we have reduced you charges. and this letter i get at da end of every yr. sum time i get my charges reduced or sumtimes they send offers. and also mobitel customer care is damn good. recently i called da dialog customer care for an inquiry from my uncles fone and i had to wait aroun 10 mins on da fone till sum bugger from da customer care cut the line without answering my inquiry. i had da exact opposite experience in mobitel. i was talking wit a customer care and my battery died. wen i put it to charge not even a minute passes i get a call from mobitel appologizing for the disconnection which they thought was a fault in their side!

got loads more man! cant b bothered talking abt those!

there is no reason people to hate any telecommunication companies, all those companies do business and all of them have hidden charges, i use both Mobitel and Dialog and ive notice mobitel hidden charges are less than Dialog, but for me both are the same
