elakirians,

what is your opinion on following cameras;

1. canon 60D with 18-135
2. nikon D5200 with 18-55 and 55-200

Comments and advice are warmly welcom....

I use Canon DSLR. so I recommend CANON

2nd option. 5200 is newer. has better technology hence better image quality. Lower noise at high ISO. more focus points etc etc, only drawback i see with the 5200 is it doenst have a builtin focus motor.

60d is somewhat older still performs very well.

I am a Nikon user. What I see between Canon and Nikon is, Nikon has low price cams, but lenses are not much cheap. For canon, body is expensive, but lense are relatively cheap.

who says nikon is cheaper? nikon is higher in price but better in quality. focus points too are less in nikon. e.g. high end cameras have 51 points against 61 points in canon. still nikon is better in build quality and image quality.

Machan problem is Nikon has low price cams for Entry Level and Semi-Pro. Canon has not such. For example try to get the price of Nikon D5200 equivalent feature Canon.

Nikon has very good processional cam. Much much expensive and very much better in quality.

If you have DSLR, name the model. Then we can compare.

i bought a 600d cos i couldnt afford a nikon with same features. now im planning to sell it and buy a d7000
