Dual SIm

I dont know about new phones, but in things like old 3310s, they had this new back cover that you can put the two sims and then the cover has an extended sim like connector tht you can put to the actual SIM holding place.
You switch between sims using *#3370# or something (The phone restarts)

I heard that there are new kinds of sims in the market that you can program to hold two numbers. Dont know details

Scene eka 2 ways thiyenawa karanna.
1st widiya thamai Dual Sim Tool eka daa ganna eka. Eka daa gaththama eka sim (not a real sim like Dialog/Mobitel) ekai machan fix karanne, but in the end the two real sims can be placed. When u want 2 switch in to the other sim u simply have 2 turn the phone off and back on. Habai dan ena hogak phones walata me scene eka karanna baa.

2nd scene eka thamai you buy a super sim. That sim can hold information about 6 or sometimes 12 sim cards. But you have 2 have a sim card writer as well. The procedure in Super SIM is that you first create the images of the original sim cards (Dialog/Hutch/Tigo or whatever!) and then write to the super sim, these images as well as a small piece of software. Then i think this software will take care of changing what SIM to use.

gud info + ela stuff abt SIMz are here in dis thread
Macho dnt use da dual sim card
Coz Ive experienced a burnt Mobitel SIM as a result of using a dual SIM card for 6 months
but its da easiest and da cheapest way to use 2 SIMs rather dan buying a phone :)
tdevinda - ur wrng abt da codes
That code is to activate/switch between da call quality level in Nokia phones.. dnt use dat feature unneccessarily.. just switch off and on to restart..

By da way if u wanna know info on dual sim card its like dis..
    • Varies from model to model
    • Ur back cover of da housing sometimes will need some replace or u'll have to scratch its edges in order to have som 2mm room for da dual sim card..
    • Price range from Rs. 150/- to Rs. 500/-.. Thrs a gud quality 1 at abt Rs. 850/-
    • Switch on and off to switch between da SIMs (Networks)
    • May sometimes be bulky.. coz sometimes it will not change da networks or will display Insert SIM at once .. bla bla..
    • As an experienced user of 6+months of a dual sim card holder, I will not reccomend it to any 1

Ive got no ideas abt da super sim card.. but thr r shops/ppl who does dat service.. but thrs one problem.. The network ppl have ur SIM card # (The number printed+edged back of da SIM-not da phone number) So it will not tally with ur SIM.. and by anycase whn u need help something with da SIM they (the ppl at da service center of ur network's) will not accept.....
