Why is that???
They are in a separate section. They just moved in to the Campus premises. Previously, they were in Borella. We don't have common lectures. So we hardly keep contact. I know couple of guys, but that's just it.

from where I can find Benq, NEC or Liteon?

Is there some special places in Unity?
or all the shops are same?
Mitech has Liteons. They have only that brand.

I haven't seen NEC anywhere.

If you are lucky, you'll stumble upon a Benq drive.

But remember, Benq and Liteon are together now, even though they still have the separate brand names. So, there should be a merge in technology. I'd say, it's not a bad idea to go for the latest model from Liteon, the 20x burner. (I think Lite-On LH-20A1P SuperAllwrite is the model)

Finally, I got a Samsung one.

I searched everywhere in Unity Plaza.
But No-one had any different brand without Samsung.
(there were SONY. but they said I can't burn DVD-RAM with that Sony.
So I got a Samsung SH-S182 from 'Barclays'

What Do U think???

Long time no see. What happened to you?

Anyway, it is a slow reader. Only 12X for DVD+/-R. And do you really want DVD-RAM? You can make A DVDRW a DVD-RAM by using Nero's In-CD or something similar ne

That model was the best 3S drive model from Lite-on. But it's identical in hardware to 1673S. However that's pretty old. Almost two years.

And HP don't make drives too. They are either from Benq, LG or some other manufacturer
