An unlucky man, Amine Britel, was left with serious burns across his abdomen after the battery in his electronic cigarette exploded in his jacket pocket. The whole incident was caught on a nearby security cam and it is a spectacular and sobering reminder of how dangerous lithium-ion batteries can be when they go bad.
