EDOTCO Sri Lanka has been awarded the nation’s first Telecommunications Infrastructure Services Licence by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), establishing a clear and progressive regulatory framework for independent infrastructure providers.
The licence empowers EDOTCO to deliver a comprehensive suite of passive and active solutions from towers and poles to submarine cables and network components, placing us at the centre of Sri Lanka’s digital infrastructure expansion.
With 7,000+ new towers required to realise the country’s 5G ambitions and mobile data usage expected to quadruple by 2028, EDOTCO is strategically positioned to bridge this infrastructure gap. By aligning with national priorities such as the Digital Economy Strategy 2030, we are committed to accelerating inclusive digital transformation while creating sustainable, long-term value for our partners, stakeholders, and the communities we serve.
