    these are not the main differences!

    Main difference is every MB b4 P55 had 3 chips on the MB( CPU, N/B and S/B) but in P55 there are only 2 chips (CPU and P55).

    the difference between core i7 (socket 1366 ) and core i5 1156) is QPI is on longer there and DMI has taken its place and triple channel memory was reduced to Dual channel memory.
