Well, best way to make HDR images is to have three separate images with different exposure settings. But if you want the easy way out then you can use a single image, but it will not look very nice. When using a single image it is normally recommended to use a RAW file because RAW images have more information that is lost when converted to JPEG. Unfortunately Sony T9 doesn’t have RAW support. So you have to use JPEG. I haven’t used JPEGs, but I guess you should still be able to get a decent looking HDR off of JPEGs too. Try it and see.
