I will vote for Lazy lizards team, for overall best balanced team.

Strong middle order with the likes of Ponting,Kohli,ABD and Miandad.

The you have Kapil Dev,Lee and Pollock all of whom are great lower order bowlers

Anwar and Dilshan are one of the greatest openers.

Bowling wise the team has enough experience with Lee,Waqar,Pollock and Dev

Qadir was a superb leggie.Dilshan can roll his arm when needed.

Kosala has a decent team, but then again Gavaskar was not the best of ODI batsman.A decent middle order with plenty of batting and a good set of all rounders.Vaas,McGrath Akram is a super combo to have in ODIs and also Botham and Hadlee finest of allrounders,no real flaw but lacks a spinner.I believe Gavaskar at the top opening is not the best of idea

Rox again lot of good options, best spin bowling of all teams, but then again Steyn is not the best of limited overs bowlers. However the team has only 3 genuine bowlers, with only one decent pacer (I dont rate Watto as a fastbowler) unless otherwise its a rage turner I don't see this team doing that well.Decent side, but lacks decent pacebowling, which is essential for limited overs cricket

Overall 3 quality teams, but LLs side is better considering the balance he possess in terms of both quality batting and bowling.

As a Team manager my honest review on other 3 teams :)

Randy got the best possible top order with Tendulkar, Gilcrist and Richards. Lara and Jones can build the inning at middle overs. Dhoni, Imran and Afridi can give the necessary firepower at the end. Batting is well balanced and can score 300+ in any track. Ambrose and Garner with the new ball and Malinga at the death overs + Imran make a good pace attack. May be a genuine spinner can add more balance to the team, But with the experience Afridi can do the job.

I'll give 9/10 for batting and 8/10 for bowling to Pelawatte boys.

Kosalamail is also has a decent team. Pace attack is going to be a nightmare with Wasim, Macgrath and Vass with the new ball, Specially in a seaming track, But Having three fast bawling allrounders is too much (Hadlee, Botham and Kallis) and there is no specialist spinner. Gavaskar and waugh are two weak links in the batting lineup. Gavaskar is too slow to be a opener (S/R 62) and waugh is not a great batsman (avg 32)

I'll give 7/10 for batting and 8/10 for bowling to ROCKY WORLD XI.

Rox got another exiting team with powerful spin attack, But pace attack is too weak. Steyn need someone otherthan watson to share the new ball . Taylor (avg 32, SR 59) and Border (avg 30) are two weak links in batting lineup. Inclusion of Ian healy as a specialist wicket-keeper is also a surprise.

I'll give 7/10 for batting and 7/10 for bowling to SUPER DONATIONS.

Considering all these facts my vote goes to Pelawatte boys XI. :)

Good analysis mate,I think you got Steve Waugh's part incorrect,Steve Waugh is one of the greatest batsmen, true he didn't live up to the potential as an ODI batsman, but that said an average of 32 is not entirely bad.Steve Waugh used to be a middle order 5/6 bat,so u can't expect him to average above 40s,he was in fact a useful medium pacie cum the captain

Honestly i haven't see him play, just the fact that his batting average is only 32 as a specialist batsman made me feel bad about him :( as you said his captaincy and medium pace bowling must have been important factors.

He got an impressive test record though, seems like the Australian version of younis khan

Neither have I seen him play. But overall record of a player doesn't bring the real picture in to account.Waugh was a gritty player he wasn't a top class ODI bat he was always then and there even as an ODI cricketer.

We rate Sanath really high, but take a look at his batting average again 32,but overall impact wise Sanath is as good as any ODI player in the world. On his day he was the most lethal, same could be said of Gilly, who only averaged 35 with the bat

same story for mahela, only averages 33. Stats is not everything but future generations will not have the same respect we had for Mahela. Sanath atleast had his higher scoring rate + bowling. :)
