All the updates of kaspersky are downloaded from their servers. The update module is pre programmed to download a set of specific files. If even one file doesn't get downloaded in the update the whole update process fails. By applying the crack we are trying to block something that we can't block.
That's why in a few days Kaspersky crashes.
