Use any picture as your Elakiri avatar

As we all know the maximum file size of an avavar we can use is 19.5 kilobytes. We can use PS as a utility to reduce the file size of a picture without much reduction of it's quality.

1. Open an image in PS which you wish to use as your avatar (I'll use the original picture of my avatar which is 114 kb in file size)

2. Select File >> Save for web. You'll get a window as shown in the screenshot

3. Click on the arrow button and select Optimize to File size.

4. Now set the desired file size to 19.5K and click OK

5. Save the file and click done.

that's all. This is the result (19 Kb) it's almost the same as the original picture with a slight reduction of the quality
