But Centrino is a platform. It's not an architecture. In fact, Core and Core 2 are not different architectures like Netburst and Core. Core 2 is an optimized Core.

Anyway Core is FSB667 and Core 2 is FS800. Core doesn't support 64bit and Core 2 is 64bit.

Yes. Intel has released the Centrino successor, code named Santa Rosa. It's a platform just like Centrino. CPU, chipset and motherboard all come under this platform.
