• It is entrance free event but only EV Club members can participate
• If you are not a member you can register there in the event.
• Member registration fee is Rs 2,000/=

Note: This will be casual discussion forum where mainly focus on above topics. Members can discuss about any other EV related matters which not listed above. So please come with all information you have.

By acting as a group we got few things done and government’s attention (some) in EV related issues. We have to be stronger and continue the efforts then we’ll be able to find solutions for other burning issues.

Battery replacements issue of Nissan Leaf

Rarhanran told this issue about 3 years ago.

That’s less than half the price of a brand new 24 kWh pack (650,000 yen or ≈). Nissan will try to make use of the old modules for energy storage systems.

Sales of the refabricated packs will start in May.


Nissan will offer refabricated batteries for the Nissan LEAF under a new, fee-based exchange program



Interesting is that a brand new 40 kWh battery costs just a little more than the 30 kWh unit. 40 kWh stands at 820,000 yen (around ) – for the modules we believe.



The new offer is made possible through the launch of a new factory in the town of Namie in eastern Japan, built by 4R Energy Corporation, a joint venture between Nissan and Sumitomo Corporation.


According to Nissan, this is Japan’s first factory specializing in the reuse and recycling of used lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles.


The 4R plant in Namie, Japan, will specialize in the reuse and recycling of batteries from electric vehicles.

ලෝකේ මොකෙක්වත්, අඩුම ගානේ වාහනේ හදන කොම්පැනිය වත්, ලංකාවේ කන්ඩිෂන්ස් ගැන බලල, මේ වාහනේ මෙහෙට ගැලපෙනවා කියල නැහැනේ.

ඉතිං ලංකාවේ කන්ඩිෂන්ස් ගැන දන්න, ලංකාවේ සෑහෙන්න වාහන පාවිච්චි කරල අත්දැකීම් තියෙන කෙනෙක් කියපු දෙයක් අවුරුදු ගණනාවකට පස්සෙත් 100% හරිගිහින් තියෙන එක පුදුමයක් නෙමෙයි.
