Price is the factor, I can get MAK at a lower rate where mobil is far expensive, + shell is far away recently prices of engine Oil sky rocketed, the manufacture recommended to have 5W30 or 10W40 from any , I understand engine is far more important than any factors

Use the oil with the correct manufacturer specification... example for BMW engines, BMW has a specification known as BMW-LLO (Long Life) and they recommend to use a lubricant which is compatible with that specification.
