    ඔය ලැට් ගියා, බඩ ගියා වගේ ඒවා නැතුව දියුණු රටක් බලපන්කො. නෑදායෙක්ට හරි කටක් ඇරලා කියන්න පුළුවන් රටක්.

In a galaxy far far away
spouse ekkagena yanna baha neda first time?

I have seen in Germany students bringing their spouse with the student visa. Once they got the student visa, a placement in a university and entered the country, they had to find accommodation big enough to host his spouse (and children if that's the case). Then along with required documents (e.g marriage certificate) they had to show enough funds.

    Enough funds in the sense,
If you apply for a student visa in Germany, you should have an amount of ~10K euro blocked in an account. If you wish to bring to your spouse, you will have to have extra ~10K euro. The idea is even if you don't find any other income stream (say a student job), you should have enough money to eat & sleep for you and your family for at least a year. If you plan to bring children this may be more than 20K. I don't know anyone who did that....

Oh and btw, good news is if you bring your spouse, they get access to full time work in Germany.
As a student, you are not allowed to work full time. But your spouse can. If she/he is a professional, this could be very helpful :-)

    Hope this helps!
