A ten member tea of the Sri Lanka Adventure Force have successfully trekked the Everest base camp (5364m) and Mount Kalapathar (5560m) in Nepal last year.

The expedition undertaken under the patronage of the sports ministry was completed within a period of 37 days. The team included 10 members included 9 president awarded scouts.
