itz a computer made in sri lanka by da EZY infotech.it weighs only 1400grams n da price is Rs.30,000. it coms wit a 16' inch LCD moniter.

Yeah, DVD-RW Drive is optional. No idea why, If you purchase it, you will get a Samsung SATA DVD-RW.

according to my ideas, its good if you are planing to use your pc for ordinary normal things such as web browsing, email, listening to music, word processing etc.. and it would be better if you could use linux on it.

if you are planing to do some work which would take a lot of computing power, i do not suggest you to get this (gaming, etc)...

And im not sure about the upgrading capabilities of the pc!

some people says that the Intel Atom is an unsuccessful marketing attempt and core 2 duos available for the same price would do better than the Atom processor..

I went to see that PC, the outlook is good without DVD/RW rom Rs.29990 with DVD/RW 32490. The displayed machine they have installed ubantu. Performane looks okay, can't tell exactly without Windows OS
