First Of All I have to tell " Congratulations " As If You Are Called for an interview Those who have contacted you saw some sparkle In You, In Your Details , Or In Your Resume... and Thought Of fetching You Would fulfill their expectation for the vacancy that they have.

1st of all you must be happy about it… coz self satisfaction is the main thing…

When those people call you for an interview GET THE DETAILS CORRECT like the venue of the Interview , Date, Time, The Person who contacted you, and the telephone number if You Don’t have CLI

After it Slowly Prepare Your Resume,
That means Collect all your Certificates

Get A Certificate File! - Don’t take Your certificate In an Ordinary Folder, Prepare your Certificates If Possible get a Gramasewaka Certificate ( Charitha sahathikaya )

Hmm.. CERTIFICATES : when You are Sorting your certificates You MUST prepare them in order of value. ( Eg: putting you’re A/L certificate In front Of your BSc Certificate… is wrong ) as When You Hit them You must Hit them With Your Best first. You may say that “ Save The Best For last … “ But In This Case You must provide The Best First . In doing this You can get the Points For,


• Good Presentation
• Good Management Of Documents

Also If You Think Its required, take some photo copies of your certificates. I think its better if you take them as all the interviews I faced asked for the copies… and I think this can help you to fetch some points from;

• Preparation

Well Up to Now You Have Got the Correct Time & Venue Of the Interview and Prepared your Documents. I Shall Give Some General Ideas for your Resume / CV in this thread as well after the general points Of the thread is completed.

Part - 02


Well Now you are ready to face your interview...

On the Interview day Here are some things that you must & Mustn't do...

Collect the certificate file that you created earlier ( which has every thing that is req. )
Dress UP :
Well this is another part most of our ppl do wrong... here the interview Is not a Wedding Nor Sex Shop so u must be professional and decent !
yes the First impression is valuable but the people at the interview looks for a good worker rather than a good looker... so wear some thing light colored or white ( i prefer white )

ladies pls do wear some cloths else if you are going to a screen test try to be a charm person.

Your Shoes : Must be able to look at your hair style from it... i mean it must be shined very well..

Your Hair : try to be as normal as possible ( this you know )

Take a Pen : as most of the company's now gives out a from to fill at their place so take a pen with You ( NOT A FLASH Drive )

Take Your Work ( if u are a designer or You have any special items to be presented [ i'm posting this it another post ])

Go before the time : Please go to the interview before time that they expect you. Remember that you are traveling in SL and about the traffic.. dont be late and try to make it up to them OK!
