Usage of fans shows how themally inferior their products are
Wouldn't you feel if you had a fanless heatsink solution for your CPU than otherwise? I would love to have a fanless solution.

Sure, the northbridge heatsink heats up a lot. On mine, it's warmer than the CPU heatsink.

Besides, fans make noise. A heatpipe solution would be much better. Gigabyte's DQ6 has that. So does that Asus Striker Extreme.
i have a heat pipe on mine.It is great too.in my mobo too the NB gets hot than pc.The hottest thing is that:eek::eek:
fans doesnt make much noise in ma case.So im ok with them..

Well, in the Pentium4 S478 days, you couldn't even find a motherboard that cost more than Rs.20,000. Sure, EPSI had the P4P800 etc. at a high price, but EPSI is an exception.
At that time the value of the rupee was high.Anywayzz we mustnt allow EPSI to do such a thing. But how can we?All the things we wish r @ there and they hav so higher powerful connections:(

It can't be a Core Duo. It has to be a Pentium-D 2.66GHz. Some people bought that CPU for Rs.11,000 with 3 year warranty,

Of course I'm right there. You know, Core Duo was only released to Laptops and the max speed was 2.33GHz. It's the Core 2 Duo that was released to the desktops. 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo is over US$500!!!

These are the only ones that supports overclocking on Intel's end. Sure there was the D875PBZ which allowed a mere 5% overclock. But these allow 30% or more. These are for the enthusiasts. But whoever has so much money to spend on a motherboard will definitely look at the comparable Asus or Gigabyte products. I know I will.

Anusha ayya I have D875PBZ board. there isa feature in BIOS to OC,but they giv a warning when i went to enable it.

Ignore those warnings. How ahead with the overclock. It's just 4%, so you should be fine. I think just raising th FSB by 4% would do the job.

No it will not. There are 3.8GHz Pentium4 Prescotts remember? Then they should be melted as soon as they are plugged in.
