You can buy 1996-1999 Model year Carinas. Though they are old you might find a immaculate car. Also you can find 1.3cc Lancer CS1. Model year is 2003 or 2004. Pretty decent car except for low pulling power.

Yeah. Second hand market in not as good as for Nissans or Toyotas but still it's a decent car in that price bracket. If you don't need to sell your car quickly in the future consider that as well. Or Else Stick to marketable Nissan or Toyota.

2003 - 2005 Lancer CS1 1300CC

Newer and looks better than the FB15
1300 Engine have adequate power but feels underpowered when compared to 1600CC counterparts
