if we remove that one million.

The election monitoring body PAFFREL has recorded between 55-60% total voter turnout at the Southern Provincial Council (SPC) polls which ended at 4pm this evening. Hambantota recorded 60 % voter turnout, Galle 52% and Matara 58%
​

Comments
What would be the percentage after votes are counted. That is what matters. Ballot stuffing usually take place after polls are closed & ballot boxes are in transit. It is intereting to see the outcome.

Ballot stuffing? I have not heard of this....how will they account for the number voted as per the list and the number of ballots counted? Impersonation, thuggery and various other matters may be there but stuffing? The list count and votes cast should tally. There are agents of all parties present at the voting and counting.......

Ample room for more ballots during transportation, I am certain the percentage will increase during transportation to at least 70%. Surely most opposition supporters stayed away...
