    But isn't Rama - is a pre-incarnation of Lord budhdha ?

so how can Ravana be Budhdhist ? when Budhdha is not even born yet !

Someone got his facts wrong somewhere...or is it just me not knowing a "THING" about life of Budhdha ?

Also dont take Racism here, This is just for clearing some facts. Nothing Personal.

The problem is where did they came from ? I mean people mostly in Northern area (Jaffna and ...). Because we all know Tamil people living in mid country are came from India relatively later.

I got this question into the mind by some article i read recently on internet. It could be biased or fake , but it said Tamil people lived in Sri Lanka before Sinhalese came (which said Sinhalese comes from King Vijaya or something )

I strongly believe All people should and can live in harmony in ONE Sri Lanka.

So this is not for making any ethnic conflicts or any thing, just to get a clear idea of historical facts.

There are 2 types of tamil in SL
    1. Sri Lankan Tamil
    2. Indian Tamil

Sri Lankan Tamil are here since a long time they came in certain invations ...
Like with Elara, Kalinga Magha and others

But Indian Tamils came when the British Invation happend. British wanted to
harvest tea here so singhalese were not working so they brought cheap labour
    from india...

This is 7 year Social Studies man!!
I don't belive that there were tamil before singhalese...
But we all come from same civilization.. "Mohonjodaro Harappa"...

    Which came first ?

    Chicken or the Egg?

I as a citizen in this country, as a Man and I as a sensible human is simply not interested in finding out the answer !

Fight it amongst you mongers and shed some more blood in the process.... I would be better off putting my feet up and watch some chicks shake their asses and boobs in the club while sipping a beer..............rather than tormenting my self on finding an answer for this !

No body is forcing you to post mate :)

This is ElaKiri PRO section. So please stick to the topic!

    Before Lord Goutham Buddha..
And in Sathara Pera Nimithi is was
    1.Ledek (Sick person)
    2.Mahallek (Old person)
    3.Malaminiyak (Dead Body)
    4.Pawidi uthumek (Buddhist Monk)
After Seing this Siduhath Escape the palace.. And start serching freedom!

Ravan was a Vegitarian... and his all familiy was (that why when Rama was Hunting in the Land of Ravan's sister then she has gone against rama thats why rama cut her nose)
Btw Ravan was also ruling some parts of India!

I was Told once (and clearly remember) that only the Gauthama buddha had "FOLLOWERS or DISPELS"

All the former once was enlightened but never knew the way to share his knowladge !

    Ok, that's Crazy statement number 2 !!

I "believe" correct me if I am wrong,

It's says, Siduhath saw a "MONK" or in Sinhalese "Pawadi Uthumek" NEVER it says a BUDDHIST MONK

There were enough "Monks" in India..following diffrent paths to enlightment.

again.. correct me if I am wrong
