get the Foxconn or G'byte one...the Intel Original has no OC capability..and does the intel one has an IDE connector? most of the third party(g'byte foxconn) ones have one.. its stilll useful

intel one has(DG31PR) intel's newer boards have OC options thats just was added to avoid from loosing mobo market....when ever you run OCed the life span of the hardware components goes down :P i just OC my vga for now

yes it does.. but OC'ing does not affect the Coroe cores like they did to the netburst based Northwoods and Prescotts.. The new Wolfdale(e7200) the allendale(e6300) etc have massive OC headroom.. the reason why Life span goes down when u Oc is beacause the heat generated from gets more. but the e7200 can be easily taken to 3.00 GHz without third party cooling..and without a lot of temp changing..so it does not change it's life span much. and even if it did when we come to the point where the cpu is gonna get KIA it would be far into the future so it would be out dated anyway.. :P

again i have to stress the point that Prescott/Northwood users must not OC if they dont have third party cooling as for us C2D peeps fire away!!

OCingg doesnt affect the lifetime.Only the heat and more voltage. If you keep the voltage and heat low,it will stay the same life time. And frankly people who use same PC for more than 3 yers must be shot at head :P

heat in return makes the lifespan go down its just that most people who are using C2D or Dual Core or any multi core processor hardly knows how to get the best from it, games do run great when OCed but who cares about something like 0.1 GHz its insane to OC when you dont even need it! for games a normal C2D is ok those who are below that can be expected of OCing but ppl who have C2Ds man tell me something other than gaming you do with it!
