    Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 3 is free to play on Steam


    SEGA has announced that the biggest post-launch content release for Dawn of War 3 has just been released. This update brings with it three elite heroes, five cosmetic skins, three multiplayer maps, and new custom match options to challenge players on the battlefield.

    This release builds on previous free monthly updates adding a total of nine multiplayer maps, and 25 cosmetic skins. Moreover, it comes with expanded modding tools and Steam Workshop support, and an Annihilation Mode.Furthermore, the Skull currency system has been removed, making all Elites and Doctrines available to all players.

    In addition, SEGA announced a free weekend for Dawn of War 3. PC gamers can download and start playing the game for free on Steam. This free weekend will end on October 22nd.

    Attack on Titan 2 targets a March 2018 release


    KOEI Tecmo has announced that Attack on Titan 2 targets a March 2018 release. In addition, the team revealed brand new information about its playable characters, and released some brand new screenshots.

    Attack on Titan 2 will let fans experience the gripping events of the anime’s second season. The game will feature all new challenges, and a wide selection of playable characters from Attack on Titan, including some new faces from the second season.

    In Attack on Titan 2, players will be able to create their own Custom Scout.Players will be able to play as Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert and Levi. Moreover, Miche Zacharias, Nanaba, Gelgar, Ymir and Christa Lenz will also be playable.

    Attack on Titan 2 will feature enhanced Titan movements and attacks, requiring more precise maneuvers from players. Additionally, it introduces the Monocular: allowing scouts better analyzation based on pinpointing Titan positions from afar and attack strategy utilizing their Omni-Directional Mobility Gear.

    Outside of their excursions, Scouts can also deepen their relationships with fellow comrades. This can be achieved by training and preparing for battle with the new and improved Town Life gameplay.

    Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – Official PC requirements revealed

    Bethesda has just revealed the official PC requirements for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. According to the company, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-3770 or an AMD FX-8350, 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 770 4GB or an AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB graphics card.

    What’s really cool here is that Bethesda has also listed the target resolution and framerate for both the minimum and recommended specs. Players with PC specs similar to the minimum requirements will run the game with 60fps on Low settings at 720p. Those with systems similar to the recommended requirements will run the game on High settings at 1080p with High settings.​
    Bethesda has also listed the advanced graphics settings that will be available on the PC version. These are:​

    • Shadows
    • Directional Occlusion
    • Reflections
    • Decals
    • Motion Blur
    • Image Streaming
    • Volumetric Quality
    • Decal Filtering
    • Deferred Rendering
    • Chromatic Aberration
    • Depth of Field
    • Resolution Scaling
    Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be using the id Tech 6 Engine and according to executive producer Jerk Gustafsson, it will support the Vulkan API.

    “We’re also taking full advantage of Vulkan, allowing us to push improved performance across the board in ways that simply weren’t possible before. The minimum hardware requirements are set to ensure a high-quality experience, and with Vulkan players should see solid performance on a variety of system configurations. However, if you’re aiming for 1080p with high framerate and settings, you would need to bump towards our recommended specs.”

    From the looks of it, the PC version of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will run great on the PC. The game releases on October 27th, and below you can find its full PC requirements.
