Ezio's story arc was the best one. Specially AC 2. It never came close to that level after that.

it sure does. none of these new AC games comes even close to this. Ubisoft is just milking the franchise now.
they made it complicated with unnecessary plot twists.
my personal thought is that either they should've concluded it or should've dialed down the release cycle. yearly releases was just too much with minor changes and repetitive missions. it made the series stale.

It appears that Ubisoft is currently giving away the Spartan Starter pack for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Gamers can simply visit its official website, register or login and acquire their free content. However, there are some additional details that you should read so… keep reading.
As Ubisoft noted, in order to be eligible, participants must create or login into a current Ubisoft UPlay account between 6/11/2018 to 10/1/2018 and purchase Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on a participating platform to redeem gifts after the game’s launch.
Do note that this works even for those who have not pre-ordered the game (we’ve been able to get the free DLC even though we haven’t pre-ordered the game).“Gifts constitute in-game items totaling approximately $7.50 USD and may be available for purchase or giveaway separately.
