:)Cyberpunk 2077 'Far Bigger' Than Witcher 3

Polish developer CD Projekt Red has said its next game, Cyberpunk 2077, will be "far bigger" than anything its done before - including its last enormous game, The Witcher 3.

Speaking to MCV, visual effects artist Jose Teixeira said “Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before. Far, far bigger. We're really stepping into the unknown in terms of complexity and size and problems we encounter.”

Cyberpunk 2077 was announced in 2012, and was described back then as a realistic, violent and mature game similar to The Witcher, based on the 1988 Mike Pondsmith Cyberpunk pen and paper role-playing game system. The developer since went dark on the project - and will reportedly stay that way until 2017! - to focus on The Witcher 3.

"The Witcher helped Cyberpunk quite a bit, because the game got so big and so complex that it really taught us,” Teixeira continued. “We really didn't know what was going to happen. If anything, working on The Witcher 3 was a really good and often brutal learning experience. Cyberpunk is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it.
