Marvel and Square Enix announce The Avengers project, developed by Crystal Dynamics & EIDOS Montreal
Marvel and Square Enix announced today a multi-game partnership leading with The Avengers project. In addition, Marvel and Square Enix released a teaser trailer for this new The Avengers game that can be viewed below.
According to its description, The Avengers project is being crafted by Crystal Dynamics – longtime developers of the award winning Tomb Raider series – in collaboration with lauded Deus Ex developer Eidos-Montreal.
The Avengers project is being designed for gamers worldwide and will be packed with all the characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise. Featuring a completely original story, it will introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come.
More details on The Avengers project and other games will be announced in 2018, so don’t expect it anytime soon.

Developed by Bandai Namco’s in-house Project Aces team based in Tokyo and utilising Unreal Engine 4 with a unique and brand new dynamic feature, ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown applies the latest evolution of its graphics engine in conjunction with the power of the latest generation of gaming consoles and PCs to create immersive aerial battlefields. Fully rendered clouds fill the skies while highly detailed cityscapes enhance the sense of supersonic speed, setting the stage for highly exhilarating aerial battles.
ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown will provide an arsenal of ultra-modern and near-future super weapons for players to wield, while presenting formidable enemies for pilots to vanquish in the air. Aces who have proven their aerial combat prowess in ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown’s campaign mode can take their dogfighting skills online for furious online multiplayer battles.
ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown also marks the return of Sunao Katabuchi as the lead writer behind the fictional storyline that players will experience in the game. Previously, Sunao Katabuchi wrote the storylines for both Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies and Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.

Codemasters has just announced the next part in its DiRT series. DiRT 4 will be all about embracing the Motorsport danger, and it will be about the thrill, exhilaration and adrenaline that is absolutely vital to off-road racing.
Codemasters has just announced the next part in its DiRT series. DiRT 4 will be all about embracing the Motorsport danger, and it will be about the thrill, exhilaration and adrenaline that is absolutely vital to off-road racing.
According to the press release, DiRT 4 features a game-changing system called Your Stage; an innovative rally route creation tool that allows you to produce an almost-infinite number of unique stages at the press of a button.
“You choose your location and set the route parameters, then Your Stage does the hard work to create a unique rally stage that you can race, share with your friends, and then challenge them to beat your time. Your Stage allows experienced rally players to create longer, more technical routes, whilst newcomers can create simpler shorter routes as they hone their skills.”
DiRT 4 will feature classic rally racing that continues to build on the foundations set by the Colin McRae Rally games, the brutal, fast-paced racing from the official FIA World Rallycross Championship, the crazy battles of racing trucks and buggies, and the outrageous fun of open events in Joyride.
Codemasters has released the first screenshots for DiRT 4, as well as its announcement trailer.
DiRT 4 is currently planned for a June 2017 release.
