Brutal Legend is available for free on Humble Bundle for the next 48 hours

    zXhgAUb.jpg

Metal fans, here is something for you today. The Humble Bundle is currently giving away free copies of Double Fine’s Brutal Legend. Therefore, for the next 48 hours, PC gamers can acquire their free copies by visiting Humble Bundle.

Brutal Legend is an action-adventure that marries visceral action combat with open-world freedom. The game is set in a universe somewhere between Lord of the Rings and Spinal Tap, and is a fresh take on the action/driving genre. Brutal Legend features Jack Black as Eddie Riggs and cameos by some of the biggest names in metal music.

The PC version of Brutal Legend also features both the Hammer of Infinite Fate and Tears of the Hextadon multiplayer map packs. Moreover, it features a 4v4 “skirmish” multiplayer mode. According to its description, the MP marries action combat with a strategic unit-control mechanic.

Brutal Legend gives players the freedom to walk, drive, or fly anywhere in a fully streaming open world. Furthermore, the game’s art style is inspired by some of the most iconic and hilariously rad metal album covers ever created. Also, the game packs 108 tracks from 75 different bands representing every sub-genre of metal.

Do note that Brutal Legend is not only an action adventure, but also a strategy game. As such, its combat is a combination of classic action slasher and real time strategy mechanics. Melee and ranged combat come from your double-sided broadaxe and demon-slaying, pyrotechnic-creating guitar. Moreover, it features a guitar solo mechanic that can summon objects, buff your teammates, or cripple your opponents.

Brutal Legend came out in 2013 on the PC, and currently has Very Positive reviews on Steam.

Ok so you cannot continue the DLCs it seems without playing NG+ base game & doing some farming. Cause you'll be under levelled & even if you somehow manage to get to the bosses, they'll almost one shot you in an instant :dull:
Bosses are usually like that but the DLCs are insane. They've nerfed some buffs in the DLC as well so it's harder.
3 bosses in he first DLC & right now at the last boss & that chick one shots me every goddamn time!!!
And also gear is very important after the base game.

If you want to know more, there are colour codes for the armour & weapons.
Going from common to exotic(4 colours) in the base game. And after that you get divine weapons. And you can buff them afterwards. The thing is most people upgrade this shit is by doing farming revenants (ghosts).
Revenants are other NPCs who've died in the game. Since I play the cracked version, I cannot connect online obviously and see other revenants. Only a very few that has been created by the game. And they usually have weak ass shit. So in a bit of a tough spot.
Have to do it the hard way it seems.

    uhspWkR.jpg

As you’d expect, Ubisoft has launched its Black Friday sale. This basically means that PC gamers can find numerous discounts on UPLAY for all of Ubisoft’s titles.

Now while the company claims that there are up to 75% discounts, the latest games – which are the ones that most of you will be interested in – did not receive these huge discounts. Still, there are some interesting ones.

Take for example Assassin’s Creed: Origins. While the Standard Edition received a 9% discount, the Gold Edition got a 29% discount. What this means is that the Standard Edition now costs £49.99 whereas the Gold Edition costs £49.69.

Watch_Dogs 2 received a 66% discount, whereas Ghost Recon Wildlands received a 40% discount. South Park: The Fractured but Whole got a 18% discount while Rainbow Six: Siege got a 50% discount.

Older games also received some pretty cool discounts. Assasin’s Creed Rogue now comes with a 50% discount and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon got a 66% discount. For Honor received a 20% discount and The Division got a 60% discount.Overall, these are some pretty cool discount. If you are interested in any of Ubisoft’s title, this is the perfect time to get them.
