gay or lesbianism what's wrong with that? it's all about one's personal preference over the matter of sex. just forget 'bout pansil, bible quoran or whatever.. it's a personal issue.
i didn't vote cuz i think relegion is irrelevent when it comes to personal matters.

okay now don't call me gay cuz i'm not.. but i like the idea of lesbians.:P (girl on girl porn is the best):P:P:P

I think
discussing about them is okay.
Religion matters most when it is personal.
As a follower of Buddha
I know that his teaching shows
how not to harm oneself and others.

I agree that
girl on girl porn is the best.
They are very smooth and more respectful for each other,
I think.

i think only difference is they like same sex..that's not all about sleeping together. gay ppl can love eachother as well. so id say only different in heterosexuals as opposed to gays is that they like opposite sex.

In my view of Buddhism, it is not going to any extremes.
I have not seen any strong restrictions for sex in Buddhism.
Only thing I have seen sex of married people who having sex except their spouse is come under "kaama michchachara"
Gay, Lesbian or prostitution sex has no come under this till it is not effected to any married family life.

    At Gross level yes.
    You are right.

I feel in a subtler way
    anything enjoyed in not naturally
    is breaking Seela.
Over doing, indulgence in any of pancha kaama.

the correct answer for the question would be depending on why do we need a seela? and how does the "para abu sewanaya" breaks the seela but having sex with wife doesnt? and what benefits does the society gain by having and protecting seela.

according to that concept, anything that you do to have sexual oriented pleasure would be categorized as "having sex". doesnt matter whether its with a man, woman or an alien.

Dude, its for ordinary people not the monks. So "ordinary" sex is allowed for gays, lesbos, and straights its given but doing that you should not do it in a wrong way, i think this is incest and/or sex with people who are not your spouse(s) :P
For lesbos and gays because they have their spouses :P its ok i think that's how they what it to be so let it be.
it just comes into discussion with the current social structure thats why its on the precepts if one is spinning out of that structure he/she will make bad karma just not because he/she is having sex just coz he/she knows if someone finds out he/she'd be screwed for what he/she did
thats all karma is, sin is not a word of Buddhism though

and athula has a point here and i think its no big deal :D

well, atula's question is, is gay/lesbian sex breaks seela. according to pansil, could a bi sexual relationship cause the seela to be broken.

and what I meant is, as long as the person is experiencing sexual pleasure, its sex. so it will be same as straight sex. will break seela, if its done in the wrong way...

and do we need seela, is having sex with another woman a bad thing is a very debatable question. and atula did not meant that in his question as i understood. correct me if i'm wrong :)

    "para abu sewanaya"
    Is one aspect.

What is the natural way to do it.
If it is not done in the natural way
    isn't it harmful.

    What is the definition of
    Kama + Mithya + Aachara

    Weradi aakarayata kamsepa windeema.

    ?

It is totally ok if you and your spouse or anyone does not like mentally suffer afterwards you do it--gays,lesbos,bies,straights anything
If noone is screwed :P no karma so nothing happens
but in real world it is not like that the social structure is fixed in a way that people will suffer mentally if someone does that so its the same for gays, bies, straights
that's theres to it as i think

Yep, Sex is sex, doesn't matter if it is hetero or homo. What matters is whether someone is getting hurt or not.

I'm surprised to see so many people saying YES. Don't understand their reasons...
