for God sake stop taking political sides in this matter......if sarath fonseka is going to talk about "war crimes",then it will effect the whole country,,not only one or two people........what is this war crime issue all about in the first place???...how many innocent civilians did the LTTE kill??how many were disabled???did the LTTE themselves consider these so called "war crimes"???were we fighting against a top class civilized army???No...we were fighting against an uncivilized group of gurilla fighters.......so what do they expect??.....now soon after ending this 30 years old bloody war,,all of a sudden some bullshit "war crime"issue has come up....what a joke....our own people are trying to back stab their own men.....what sarath fonseka is doing is totally unethical....this is something which can effect our country very badly.....so stop looking at this in a political way.....

General Fonseka arrested

Former army Chief and opposition Presidential candidate General Sarath Fonseka and his media secretary Senaka de Silva were arrested by the military police a short while ago, opposition Member of Parliament Mano Ganeshan told Daily Mirror online.

Military spokesman Major Prasad Samarasingha confirmed that the General has been arrested from his Colombo office for committing military offences.

Meanwhile the memory chips of the cameras of the Daily Mirror photographer and an AFP journalist covering the arrest of the General were confiscated by the military who had surrounded the General's office.

SF was talking something regarding testify against his own troops.. maybe that's why he's got arrested..!!

no, he publicly said he will take responsibility for everything which happened under his command during the war, so "against his own troops" is bull shit.

however he said he "will not defend any useless fellows who interfered with the military".... so a non-military person who is probably Gotabaya is who he is implicating.

Gotabaya may try to use the us to cover himself. If it's himself who is implicated no point covering up behind the "us and army".
