This had happened at a time we need more tourists. Though we cannot eliminate these crimes in full every step should be taken to minimize these. Like the way these crimes are published in the media we also must publish the action taken by the authoritie in this regard. We all together must ensure that Sri Lanka is a better place for tourists to visit.

Political parties such as JHU and other communal parties talk aggressively about the prolong culture and traditions now what? This is the real situation of our country believe it or not. I ask those communal parties to leave politics and go back to temple and preach good things to the people at least to protect our country name.

The three persons stayed in the Hotel. Fine. How did the hotel allowed these to stay without getting their identity recorded. Why using sniff dogs & waste Police man hours if this was done properly. Its best to cancel the license of these Hotels. What will the Tourism Ministry do now? If this news spread all over the world -will any one dare to visit Sri Lanka? As many have suggested- capital punishment- the only solution for rape prevention.Hotel employees must be charged for aiding and abetting.
