This is totally wrong machang. The tipitaka was written down in 101BC, 65 years before Jesus was born. Asoka scriptures date back to 237BC, that he worshiped Lumbini, the birth place of prince Siddhartha.

Buddha lived in 6th ecntury BC, Jesus in 1st century BC and AD, Mohammed in 6th century AD. Moslems beleive that Jesus is also a prophet sent by Allah, but his teachings are tampered by people later.

Try this. The Sinhala and English traslations are bit difficult to follow. But can manage. MettaNet organisation

Rev. Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero has recently translated Pali Tipitaka to Sinhala. It is very easy to follow. Available as six hefty books, and four more to come as "Abhidhamma pitaka". Tipitaka is a huge compilation, 15 times more verses as Bible! Whole package will cost around 7500 I think, if you are interested.

No. this is about seperate life forms. Astral body is part of the person. it does not have a seperate existance.

That's the major difference between Abrahmic religions and Buddhism. According to Buddha (his personal name "Gothama"), he's not the first nor the last. Next one will be enlightened by the name of "Maithri". Earlier one was "Deepankara".

I know that machang.. Just clarified whether this is the Last Buddha existed uptodate. (which you were talking about.. [600BC])

[Has happened to me several times ]

There are several dimentions in the world. We can see only 3 dimentions by our naked eyes. X, Y and Z... (Width, hight and depth. )

But if you could increase the power or your brain... I don't know the english word for this.. (wingnaanaya), then you can see some other dimentions as well.

Some say you can travel through time if you realise these other dimentions. (Altogether there are 11 as I know) I guess Lord Buddha had this capability and this is what Jesus had as well.

When you are in deep sleep state, there is a possibility of your astral body to go away from your physical body and to move around the world. Because it is more powerful than our physical body.

Sometimes it may go to the future ... That's why sometimes you feel like dejavu'
Like.. This has happened before neh kinda feeling when something happens...

When the Astral body fits back to your physical body you feel it sometimes. That's when you wake up suddenly with a podi gassillak ekka, like I told earlier...

Anyway... As a person who's doing Masters in Science I do beleive in Science very much. But still... There are several things in this world which cannot be solved by Science. Those are not Mysteries though... Only the people who has a developed mind can see those kind of things.. Like the great 2 philosophers. (Jesus and Lord Buddha)

thing. Dont know call me a nutcase..
But it's true..

There's long time of period between The dream and the incident..
I saw visiting a certain place with some of my friends..
And after 2 years.. I really visited that place..But not with friends.. my father, and one of my cousins..
I didn't remember the dream .. but when I visited there, Something suddenly striked me.. Like ''mama meheta kalin awith thiyenawa''...like that. Still wondering how it happened.... (hope I didn't say anything amusing..)
