Few days ago our world rank was around 11,000 so its near worlds most visited 10,000 sites. And we are within the worlds fastest updating top150 forums.
But Elakiri still touching only srilankan music fans and community lovers. Still lot of untouched areas are there even within srilanka. So its just finding your own area and working for it. Srilanka is small but still you can get huge amounts of traffic from it.

Anyway if you got something unique, its easy to target local traffic because you can provide the unique and original content for your local audience. If you target international traffic its hard to find unique content coz lot of people has duplicates of your content. You can get some decent traffic coz huge amounts of people are there in the world market. But its extremely hard to dominate your market, but you can get some decent amount of traffic with less effort than targeting local traffic.
