but it won't replace the job,,,that's not going to happen..even if that happens, not anytime soon

They have given mixed signals about AI content. No one knows for sure.

AI will only make Software Engineers' lives so much easier. You just need knowledge to ask AI to write code for you. I use it whenever I can, but still it's pretty immature. Before they can replace programmers, it's much easier to replace lawyers (GPT4 has already passed bar exam), Doctors (such as general practitionors), teachers and pretty much every other profession that doesn't involve hard labour.

FYI. Just note the EK post below which I made on 17 April 2021....
