මෙහෙමයි.. මං දන්න තරමින් General Public License එකක් තියෙනව කියන්නෙ ඒක redistribute කරන්න අවසර තියෙනවනෙ ඕන කෙනෙක්ට.. ඉතින් Wordpress දීල තියෙන්නෙ GPL license එක යටතේ. Wordpress Theming Handbook කියල තියෙන theme හදන tutorial එකේ තියෙන්නෙත් සේරම plugins/themes උත් GPL license එකට අනුගත වෙන්න ඕනෙ කියල.. (මට තේරෙන විදිහට) ඉතින් theme එකක් සල්ලි දීලා ගත්තත් ඒක නොමිලේ වෙන ඕනෙ කෙනෙක්ට දෙන්න පුලුවන් වගේ අර්ථයක් නෙවෙයිද ඒකෙ තියෙන්නෙ?

- WordPress is licensed under GPL.
- GPL-licensed software is free to use, free to access source code, free to redistribute, and free to distribute modified copies.
- Even if you pay to download it in the first place, you still get the right to distribute it, and for other people to use it.
- Under the GPL license, works derived from the original software must also be GPL licensed
- Based on this, there's an argument to be made that this applies to WordPress plugins and themes.
- Wordpress.org's Themes Licensing Page seems to confirm this
- It seems CSS is not covered under the GPL, though I've had a look through some of my own themes/plugins and it seems a lot of them are 100% GPL compliant - The exception seems to be most of the themes I've gotten from Envato/ThemeForest, though apparently they do have 100% GPL themes on there too.
