Grenade attack: doctors strike

Government doctors will launch an island wide strike tomorrow (August 17), the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) stated.

Doctors at the Colombo national hospital are currently on strike.

They are protesting a grenade attack on the house of Dr. Lalantha Ranasinghe in Dehiwala. There were no casualties and no damage.
