It looks like Nvidia's GTX 960 has had it's specs all but confirmed as some of Nvidia's PR slides were leaked to Videocardz. This GPU will have 1024 CUDA cores, half the core count of the GTX 980, a 128-bit memory bus, 2GB or memory and a TDP of just 120W.
In terms of clock speeds the GTX 960 will have the same 1127MHz base clock and 1178MHz boost clock, which is the same as the GTX 970 and have a memory clock of 1753MHz, which is the same as the GTX 980 and GTX 970. The retail price of the GTX 960 is still to be confirmed.
Nvidia see the GTX 960 as a replacement for their ageing GTX 660, offering superior performance at a lower TDP. Nvidia say in the slides below that compared to the GTX 660 the GTX 960 is 2x more efficient, which is a very impressive leap to say the least.
The GTX 960 will be powered by a single 6-pin power connection.
