A police team has been assigned to probe last night’s shooting incident on the residence of the principal of a school in the southern province, Police Spokesman SP Ajith Rohana said.
He said that a couple of shots had been fired at the residence of the principal of Sangamiththa College Galle by an unknown person. The House is located in Poddala.
No injuries have been caused to any persons though damages have been caused.
Police said initial investigations revealed that the incident was connected with a student admission issue.
