First, Sorry for typing a long post
...
Guys Im having a problem with my ADSL connection,
I recently (Last Saturday-30-09-2007) Changed my ADSL Packages from Entree to Home.. But since after that, My ADSL Speed (Bandwidth) Came down to 2-20KBps from 50-60KBps.. Now I called Telecom people and they checked with a different speed analyzing system and told there are 6004 of signal strength coming to our house's Telephone box (discharger) and when it comes to my computer it goes down to 1732 of signal strength (I dnt know to give a definition, what is signal strength-Everything happend while I was away, Or I should have asked them what is that and how it is measured) But I didnt do any change to my configuration (except changing the user name to [email protected] to [email protected]) or wiring or something.. Then they said to put a direct wire from the discharger (That small box like thing printed SLT on the lid) to the router.. I can do that (But it'll take some time coz our discharger is near the roof of the balcony and it'll be a very big issue to do that, buying meters of wire, and finding a way where it wont get wet and wont affect the appearence of the house)... But what is this whole thing? I enjoyed a 50-60KBps bandwidth before Saturday ne...
Well- Now for da second part
...
Guyz, now Im on a slow running internet connection which has became a damn headache for me.. You can imagine ne - It's like da Dial-Up speed... So If I goes offline middle of something or If I am away from ElaKiri for days and for my late replies please excuse k
.. I'll fix this soon and will tell ya all... And its really difficult to browse even sometimes so if u guys have any ideas on solving this other than putting a direct line from discharger to the router (And they told to put the splitter also near the discharger-Which is the most difficult issue coz I dont know a way how to keep it safe from rain AND sun) Please post here ...
P:S: I suspected if something went wrong while changing packages in the server ... From wiring or something... But SLT people checked and said it's not...
