Well what i recomend is dnt keep a long wire to the pc..
make it short coz long wires makes it slow
and check ur adsl spliter...

Eaka thamayi.. Ewanam OK.. But dan ara SLT pora kiwwa widihata discharger eke indan wire eka adinawanam wire eka dik wenawa... but eawunath okkoma telephone wire ne.. Nugegoda indanma methanata enneth Telephone wires oke ithin 1-5meter diffrnce eka danenne nathiweyi mama hitanne ...

But only if ur talking about da bandwidth.. Not da connection speed
If ur connection speed is 512KBps u get a bandwidth around 50-60KBps (Maximum 512/8 = 64KBps) .. So that speed is great and perfect...
