It depends..failures can occur without prior notice..for instance..attacked by a virus..all predictions will fail..

It cannot be predicated with current health check. I have seen disks running continuously more than 12 years at full power (rpm), and still running . In the same box, some disks failed in a couple of years and had to replace. Anyway these are not consumer grade, but enterprise grade.

Whatever the grade, do not trust disks , always keep a backup.
